grant: Finalize the lake monitoring sites for 2008, identify the
primary and secondary river and stream monitoring sites for 2008,
and finalize Memorandum of Understanding document.

identify the 15+ sites to be included in the critical/sensitive area
study, discuss a draft Memorandum of Understanding agreement among
participating organizations, and discuss possible US Army Corps of

David - GLIFWC, gave a Wild Rice restoration presentation.
Mark Schroeder - Douglas County Forestry Department, gave a
presentation about the management of the dam at the St. Croix Flowage
(Gordon).
September 2006
- Alliance Meeting: Dorothy Lagerroos - Northland
College, presentation on how to assess culverts as "fish friendly
passages" and how the alliance can work with village,
town, county, and state officials to maintain stream crossings
(bridges and culverts) in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Upper St. Croix Lake Association DNR lake grant
to study surface and ground water in the Upper St. Croix Lake
subwatershed was approved on September 28th.
